Over the summer, junior Karina spent five weeks at Phillips Exeter studying writing, speech, and debate — and received “Honors” designation in writing and speech.

Her teachers raved about her performance during the program.

With a nimble mind, an eye for insight, and the ability to clearly articulate her views, Karina frequently acted as a catalyst for our most productive, substantive conversations,” one of her teachers wrote. “She has lots of brilliant ideas, and I hope she keeps speaking her mind.”
